Shotaro Miyamoto | 宮本章太郎

Guitarist and Singer-Songwriter.

From a young age, Miyamoto was deeply influenced by his father, who introduced him to a wide array of music genres, including world music, jazz, and blues. He began playing guitar at the age of 14 and is now the frontman of nayuta, an alternative band active in Japan’s Kansai region and beyond. In 2021, Miyamoto founded the record label Jaco’s Hat Records. As a producer, he has worked with numerous musicians, delivering quality music to passionate listeners around the world.

In October 2024, Miyamoto will release his first solo album, RAINBOW, for which he wrote and composed all the songs. He also played multiple instruments—ranging from guitar to drums—and handled recording, mixing, and even the album’s artwork.

幼少の頃より父親の影響のもと、民族音楽やジャズ、ブルースなど、様々な音楽の魅力に触れ感銘を受ける。14歳からギターを弾き始め、現在は関西を中心に国内外のオルタナティブミュージックシーンで活躍するnayuta のリーダー。2021年より、レコードレーベルJaco’s Hat Records も主宰する。数多くのミュージシャンの録音、プロデュースを出かけ、世界中の音楽フリークにグッドミュージックを届けている。
2024年10月には、作詞作曲、ギターからドラムまで様々な楽器を演奏し、レコーディング、ミックス、アルバムアートワークの制作も自身で行なった初のソロアルバム「RAINBOW」をリリース。
